LINCS Coordinator

 

This position is funded under the Bioterrorism Grant. The LINCS Coordinator is responsible to develop, enhance and maintain the CHAIN; implement the ‘Communicator’ system; develop and implement strategies to improve capacity of the LINCS Agency to rapidly reach all critical community stakeholders; post public health messages on the LINCS agency website and ensure their timeliness, rapidly disseminate important public health messages and information; evaluate public health information from a local/regional public health perspective and adapt communications and messages to address local issues; manage and operate the LINCS Communication Network, the Community Health Alert and Information Network (CHAIN), on a 24/7 basis; develop and maintain relationships with public health care partners to assist in information and date dissemination and exchange; and participate in joint application development efforts to enhance LINCS.


The LINCS Coordinator is responsible for record keeping of purchases made with Bioterrorism funding and reports to the state.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Hold a baccalaureate degree from a college or university accredited as such by the
    Commission on Higher Education in health education, community health, public
    Health nursing, epidemiology, public health administration, or a related field.
     

Salary: DOE

Location: Passaic County Department of Health, 317 Pennsylvania Avenue, Paterson, NJ.
