Superintendent Eric Green is a graduate of Montclair State University. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics and a Master's in Environmental Management. Eric started with the Passaic County Department of Health as an Environmental Health Specialist in May, 2000. He was certified as a
Level 3 hazardous materials technician in 2001 when he
became part of the Health Department's emergency
response unit. In 2002 he received additional training
with the U.S. Dept. of Justice at Fort McClellan in
Anniston, Alabama as a C.O.B.R.A. WMD Haz Mat technician. Eric
became the Acting Superintendent of Mosquito Control in July, 2003
and has since been promoted to the full title. He is licensed in New Jersey as a commercial pesticide applicator in both mosquito control and aerial application.
